Sher Shah Suri, AE Dam, Narnol.

I find Sher Shah Suri's Dam as very beautiful as the small dam contains full detail.
Can anyone read date over this??

Dear Tariq, the date is located in the margin on the right side of the reverse. On your coin it is almost of the flan. Dates 950-952 are observed for this issue. Most likely the date is AH952.

Obverse: Zarb Narnol Sher Shah Sultan.
Margin: Abu al-muzaffar wa saltanat khallad allah mulkah.

Reverse: Fi-ahad al-amir al-hami.
Margin: Al Adal  9xx * al-din al-diyaan .

agreed, he shows the parts that are off the flan on the majority of coins & that is where most of us struggle trying to make sense of what we are looking at
