I can only imagine that this must be a very difficult coin to find, as it broke ground for having the name of Noor Jahan on it. Congratulations and thank you for yet another brilliant analysis.

I enjoyed her bio on Wikipedia. There are not so many female rulers in the 18th century (Maria Theresa was another exception), so they must have been exceptional people just to be able to maintain themselves.

The bio pleasantly reminded me of I'timād-ud-Daulah's Tomb in Agra, which I had the pleasure to admire last year.

I'm always fascinated by coins of that Mughal ruler.

I wish I could obtain Jahangir or Noor Jahan coin in near future.

I was lucky enough to get one of these about 6 months ago, [103]7 H, yr 22 from Patna, IMC III 819, KM 168.5, 11.38 gm, 19 mm, slightly different arrangement of inscriptions.
