Barmatic (note the missing hyphen) is a French company distributing, installing, repairing and servicing food and drink vending machines. The company was started in 1990. It is located in Tournefeuille, in the Toulouse region. It operates in the Toulouse region only. The mark on the bottom is of the token maker Thevenon in Gergy, near Beaune. The 18.5 mm diameter is non-standard and dangerously close to that of a pre-euro circulating 25 cent coin, 19 mm. It is unlikely that these tokens were meant for the Dutch market. The 22 mm token does comply with Dutch standards.

Bar-matic machines are also mentioned on a different size token that is definitely Dutch. The connection between this token and the Bar-matic token is unclear. A report of a token without the Thevenon mark could not be verified. It might be a "filled die" error.
