This one is a machine token.

Spelling error included...

Thanks Mr Paul Baker

Why do you think it's a speling error? I could imagine a bar in Gzyra called Sammy's where this token would make a jukebox play a song...

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

"Sammy" was Samuel Brincat and he was a Maltese importer of fruit machines.

Thanks Mr Paul Baker

Another older one from Malta:

C Bonavia - Malta
Egyptian Queen Music Hall

I guess it is from Strait Street in La Valletta, "The Gut" ... ;)

Kushi

Both of these pieces are listed by Bob Lyall, The Tokens and Checks of Malta, Warrington, Barret, 1999.
