whether this coin is type KM 156.1 or  KM 156.2 coin

This is 156.1 Mumbai mint lion. Quite common.

Mumbai mint did strike with Kolkata mint lion, 156.2. Relatively scarce.

How can you tell the difference?

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

The lions are different. Similar to the rs 2 lion variety. Type A  of rs 2 is Kolkata mint, the fur moves from top to outwards. More like arc of circle from position 9 o'clock to 6 o'clock.

Type C of rs 2 is Mumbai mint, the lion fur is similar to half oval.
