Denmark will tomorrow release standard circulating 10 and 20 kroner coins with a new portrait of Queen Margrethe II on their obverse. The portrait was made by artist Eva Hjorth.

Unfortunately, the 2023-dated coins will not be available in ''regular rolls'' from the webshop according to a statement by the webshop. Damn.
It's going to be either difficult or expensive to get these coins.

Kind of strange to introduce an updated effigy ... and then not use it for circulation coins as from that "moment". Why have a new portrait, in 2023, if only collectors who are willing to pay more get to see it?

At least the 20 kroner coin was already released into general circulation today. Redlock just means that no UNC rolls are available for sale from the mint.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes, being able to buy rolls directly would have been nice, but at least the coins will be in people's hands. (Well, in the hands of those who use cash. 8) )
