is there a brave soul who will dare to become a member of this truly magnificent mint
As the subject of this thread is "NEW WEBSITE"

I am appreciating the attempt of Kolkatta mint to change their attitude & come up with  unique idea  to make the booking process quick & easy.

I noticed this new website  a week's ago ,But knowing their past reputation  I was afraid to submit any details at their website .

Now after seeing the comments I realised that my decision was correct "NOT TO REGISTERED"  as still  trial/tuning  of new website ongoing.

BTW I don't collect (NCLT/NCNLT- Medals)

Cheers ;D

Images of coins uploaded at their site are  of much better quality than the coins itself.(Grade of images are better than real coins)

See the quality of coins we are getting from these mints , must use REAL images at their website.

Cheers  ;D

Dear Peter

I also explored the new website of Kolkata mint few days back. It was not accepting the password. I understand that they are in the process of renovating their website. The task has not been completed yet. Its in live beta (testing) phase now. Please have patience. I hope all the glitches will be removed shortly.

I understand that once functional, you can upload details of your non credit card payment (i.e DD) on website to generate instant booking number.

keyword being functional it will never get functional and go on their site under medals you will find your 100 rupee coins.  the mint thinks they are medals also  :D

That's because they (and some other people) think that they are medal coins. ;D

Now I know why Kolkata mint doesn't have a mint mark of its own. Even if they decide to get one, it won't be visible on the coin anyway.. >:D

Of course not. I don't have a single unc/proof set of India (or any other country in the world) and I don't waste my money for THAT badly designed coin. ;D

I think this is the forth time Mumbai mint has changed its website. Only Nigerian scammers do something like this. ::)

hahahah

i wonder what your friend at rbi would say  ;D

Bimat

RBI is not same as Mumbai mint. RBI has nothing to do with mint. They will just instruct government how many coins have to be struck. ;D
