Yeah - went straight past me with a whoosh ...

Mind the ;D

Sherlock says: since, as his handle indicates, Afrasi collects African en Asian cons and since he didn't recognize the final fragment (that's a good book title, Watson), it is obvious that the coin is from the South Pole. We shall have to go to the continent forthwith and consult with Captain Iglo.

Peter
An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Peter, I'm sure if all us forum members got together we could raise the money for a single ticket for you.
It would be a token of our appreciation. :P

Oh ... "no clue here" ... now I get it. ;D

Well, this time your puzzle was more difficult for me. Or maybe I was not patient enough, or it was too cold outside ... anyway, it was still fun. And actually the coin with the swimmer has an interesting design - thanks for that, and for the contest!

Christian

Prosit

Thank you very much Andyg!  The 50p will fit in my collection very nicely as I have practically no UK coins yet :-)

I was way off in my thinking - I had the Guernsey cow (10p) in mind for no. 4.
