Amulet in the style of Akbar mohur.
« on: April 17, 2011, 04:40:21 PM »
I am not sure whether this one is a coin or token coin... I have collected this yesterday. I find that it did have hooks on two sides of the coin which have been removed later. Not sure whether the hooks were originally or were added later for the purpose of wearing it as wrist band as there is Calima and names of four caliphs.

Experts comments please...

As asm commented in another thread, it is a modern religious token in the style of a Mughal rupee.
