Weldone Overlord, very convincing and this must be the correct attribution.
The mint is "Singhana". ........ As for the possible location, I could find the following of the same name:- a village in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan - a city in Dhar, Madhya pradesh- a village in Jind, Haryana
Would it now be possible to pin down the location of the mint?
It s located halfway between Narnaul and Jhunjunu. It is in the copper mine area of Shekawati and according Irfan Habib, (An Atlas of the Mughal Empire) in 1595 a mint for copper.
Digging through some old auction lots online, I also came across a couple of specimens of Jahangir from the same mint.
