Dear Friends

I dont think its the fault of designer. Designers are given the specific brief to do something. They are not given any freedom. They cant deviate from the given brief.

I think the theme etc are finalized by a committee of bureaucrats. Once the committee desides that the coin will have Chanakya + Lotus + Bee, the desiger is merely asked to make a sketch.

I think that considering the restrictions imposed on his creativity, the desiger has done a good job.  ;D

Cheers

Building India? LOL  ;D

Most of the state governments are now run by builders and land mafias who don't pay any kind of taxes. May be the designer tried to give them a message sarcastically.. >:D

As per enclosed advertisement  of Today in HT  , there are two  denominations for this theme  Rs.5 coin  with Rs.150 .

Pay attention to interesting  quote  of Chanakya , I- Tax department only remember this quote &  want to follow it .

"IDEALLY GOVERNMENTS SHOULD COLLECT TAXES LIKE  A HONEY BEES WHICH SUCKS JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF HONEY FROM THE FLOWER SO THAT BOTH CAN SURVIVE"

Apparently without  understanding & following other  valuable teachings from all learned Gurus , Saints  & famous personalities.

Cheers ;D

hahaha this would be funny if it was not ridiculous.  the coin and the idea behind it are both shameful.

Chanakya said honey should suck just the right amount of nectar from flowers.

If my employer pays me Rs100, they deduct Rs 30 upfront. Its not nectar... its like plucking a third of flower...

On the other hand, biggg fish roam scot free.

A gentleman of Pune is yet to pay Rs 400,000 Million in tax arrears. He is enjoying all the luxeries of life. No one has arrested him or seized his properties..

BTW, I did some calculations, if you have Rs 400,000 Million in Rs 500 notes... can you imagine how much space will be required to keep them???
If you fill all the floor area of a three bedroom flat with Rs500 bundles.. and make stacks of note bundles from floor to ceiling.. then one flat will accomodate Rs 40,000 Million.
Thus; to keep Rs 120,000 Million, you require three 3 bedroom flats (all stuffed with notes without an inch of free space).

Only a stupid idiot would keep such amounts in cash......did'nt you read that the wife of CMD of NALCO (National Alluminim Co) was caught when she went to a bank locker to deposit 5 bricks of Gold......(yes Gold Bricks....you read it right). Other avenues are Land, Benami investment (a well known politition is rumoured to own an airline company and has a finger in a number of large corporates.............)
