BOG: No decision to mint two pesewa coin
Wednesday, 21 April 2010

The Bank of Ghana (BOG) said on Tuesday it has made no decision to mint a two pesewa coin but rather modify the size of the one pesewa coin.

A statement said "the Bank of Ghana has no decision to mint two pesewa coins."

It said the bank was, however, considering modifying the size of the one pesewa coin.

According to the statement, a survey has begun to solicit ideas from the general public as to the appropriate size.
