It's a difficult coin to find, only two dates were minted for this type (1650 and 1652 ). 
It was minted during the reign on João ( John ) IV 1640-1656.
The Alberto Gomes catalogue number is : J4 23.01

This coin carries a ton of history with it; minted during the reign of Shah Jahan, 1628-1658!
