New Caledonia & French Polynesia
« on: May 02, 2010, 02:43:52 PM »
Does anyone know if the Polynesian coins are accepted for payments in New Caledonia (and Wallis & Futuna), or vice versa?
in principle, they should as the currency is the same everywhere.

cheers

Harald,
Theoretically they are. But as there is hardly any trade and/or travel between the three groups of islands the effect will be minimal.
