I have found the following decree at the central bank's website
http://www.bcm.mr/bcm/fr/docs/pmonetaire/decret_169-2009_nouveaux_types_de_pieces_monnaie_fr.pdf
http://www.bcm.mr/bcm/fr/docs/pmonetaire/decret_169-2009_nouveaux_types_de_pieces_monnaie_ar.pdf

The text is a little mysterious, since it refers to the 1974 issues, while in 2004 there already was a change.
For sure: the 20 ouguiya is now bi-metallic (already offered on eBay and elsewhere) and the 1 ouguiya is
steel (nickel plated, according to the decree, or brass plated, according to my guess). It appears that the
5 ouguiya is smaller than in 2004 while the 10 ouguiya is unchanged.

Another 2 euro (8.5 grams, 25.75 mm) lookalike. It won't fool a machine, but it will fool humans.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

But 50 Ouguiya is hardly equal to €0.135, which makes a huge difference 8)
