Hadn't noticed this before. Charles' portrait - like many pictures of faces - shows two different expressions. Cover the right half and he is as neutral as can be, thinking of nothing in particular, eyes set to infinite. Cover the left half and he looks scared.

From what we heard last from the BoC, Charles would likely appear on the $20 banknote. That was suppose to be a couple years away and we are at that point now, but no more updates afaik. I suppose everyone is waiting for the $5 Terry Fox banknote
