AUSTRALIA

Previously Elizabeth II appeared on the $5 banknote but no others.


Australia's new $5 bill will feature an Indigenous design.

It will not feature an image of King Charles, the Reserve Bank of Australia said in a statement.

THE EAST CARIBBEAN DOLLAR

All those using the East Caribbean dollar are also members of the Commonwealth.

Up to now the banknotes have portrayed Elizabeth II.


The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) expects that redesigned currency notes could begin circulating by late 2027.

Each new banknote will showcase dual portraits of two distinguished nationals from the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU).

A total of ten prominent regional figures will featured across the denominations.


Dominica is a republic.

Anguilla and Montserrat are British Overseas Territories.

The remainder are Commonwealth Realms with King Charles III as their monarch.


Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, and Saint Christopher and Nevis have expressed a desire to become republics.
