My latest acquisition,not a splendid one,but I like the simplicity :)

I like it! The reverse is interesting, with the wreath made up of two different types of leaves. The right side appears to be laurel, whilst the left side is something I'm not familiar with. Might they be heavily stylized olive leaves?

Ok, I think I found out. The right looks like an oak wreath, and the left laurel. I'm not positive, though.

Though less stylised the leaves of the 100 Lei 1991-1994 issue look similar, these were also minted in Bucharest.
I agree with Oak and Laurel.

I'm disappointed to find that my 1975 edition of Schön (English translation), which is normally a great reference for numismatic botany and biology, says only "value in wreath" for this issue.  I would usually have expected an ID of the elements making up the wreath, complete with Latin names.  The 2009 German edition offers no additional detail.

Hehe, he does indeed do that in various cases. But in this case, well, the combination is fairly common. Here for example is the €1 circulation coin from San Marino. And this is a French €25 collector coin, also with the oak and laurel combination ...
