It seems thinking in the context of the Commonwealth member (not the realm) is also common at the Central Bank of Belize.

Q: Will the Central Bank also redesign the coins?

A: The Central Bank is exploring options to update and enhance the appearance of our coins in line with global standards and practices. The public will be informed accordingly.

I think that means, yes, a new coin series will eventually be issued. Up to now Elizabeth II has appeared on the coinage. She also appeared on the banknotes, but the new banknote series shows national heroes and not King Charles III. We can expect that the UK monarch will not appear on any new Belizean coins.
