Unusual Design on San Marino Coin (KM# 153)

The Cold War Story I like best is that my wife's former neighbour had to inform the police station if an attack was imminent so that they could sound the alarm. He was given a bicycle so that he could get there quickly.  We were all told that we had just four minutes between detection of a missile launch from Russia and the arrival of those missiles in the UK. 

It took him 5 minutes to cycle to the Police Station....
