UAE: New issues for 2010

UAE has issued a coin on 10th anniversary of  Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).

With an alloy of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent cooper, the face of the coin depicts the portrait of UAE President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the denomination, while the back depicts the logo of the occasion.

The coin size is 40 mm in diameter and weighs 40 gm

Central Bank issues commemorative coins

ABU DHABI: The UAE Central Bank will issue today (Wednesday) 2,000 commemorative coins of silver marking the 10th anniversary of Dubai Financial Market. Each coin, which will be 40mm in diameter, weighs 40 grams and is made up from silver at 92.5 per cent and copper at 7.5 per cent.

One face of the coin features the image of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and the other face is the logo of the event.

The UAE Central Bank has delivered the total quantity of the coins to Dubai Financial Market as the coins will not be offered for sale through banks.

So would these be NCLT issues or just tokens? No value is mentioned for these "coins".
