In recent years, I occasionally obtained new rolls of the Dutch mint from my bank in Belgium in the original 'waffles' (packages of 10 rolls) with a label on them. Also online I regularly came across photos of these labels, which I believe Royal Dutch Mint is only adding in recent years.

On the labels there is a code. I was interested to learn that these are charge codes indicating which blank manufacturer provided the blanks, aswell as the date on which the batch of blanks was approved by the mint. With a bit of help I was able to identify some of the suppliers for the Dutch mint. I found it interesting to see where they obtained the blanks from. To my surprise, none of the codes on the labels that I came across seemed to indicate blanks originating from the mint's former Belgian sister company Royal Blanking International. The labels amongst other things also contain the date the coins were packaged, aswell as the weight.
