Dy 784 (féodales), mid and end 12th century, type with crozier left and plain reverse.

The priory of Souvigny was in the hands of the Benedictines of Cluny, harbouring de grave of saint Mayeul, mentioned on the coin, thereby becoming an important centre of pilgrims, supported by the politically important house of Bourbon. The church of the priory still exists, but it is now dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul.
