i got this coin with relevant seller's detail as follows:
Varharan (Bahram) V (420-438 CE), Silver Drachm, 3.70 gms, 28.64 mm, SNS # type-2/2

can someone pls help for Mint & other details?
have tried searching on http://grifterrec.rasmir.com/coins.html & http://www.beastcoins.com/Sasanian/Sasanian.htm but was not able to find a match

I'm afraid I can't make much of the reverse inscriptions, which Paruck says are often a mint abbreviation and the king's name abbreviated (and the right inscription looks as if it might be one of the abbreviations he shows, 'Varah'.

If you could do higher resolution scans just of the inscriptions behind the attendants I can try and work out some more.

Innovative solution, Amit!

For a more sedate approach, try searching the net for "USB microscope". They are generally not worthy of the name microscope, but they are not expensive, good enough to replace scanning coins and perfect for detail pictures. Make sure it can take pictures from straight above (not at an angle).
