Kang-xi, Gongchang mint, Gansu, 1669

This is the mint not included in the poem set.  Gansu Province was split off from Shaanxi (Shensi) in 1666.  A mint was ordered at that time.  It was to use scrap bronze and brass.  It could not cast profitably, producing only small quantities.  Diameter 28mm.img081.jpgimg082.jpg

I assume this coins' green is due to a natural chemical reaction. It suits the coin very nicely!
