After months of anticipation, Canada has now revealed a new effigy for its coins.

This is the third homegrown effigy for Canada's coins, after Dora dePedery-Hunt and Susanna Blunt.

Please work this out with Offa, who is moderator of the Canada board. Thank you.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

There's nothing to sort out.

Eurocoin is gathering all the international Commonwealth news and portraits together in one place.

That is very useful.

Then each of the boards hosting the individual countries of the Commonwealth can also post their national version(s) of the portrait. Canada is an important country, and people visiting the board will expect to see its new obverse portrait.
Visit the website of The Royal Mint Museum.

Sadly the royal Canadian mint will not ship to anywhere except Canada and the USA
