Gibraltar: New series of circulating coins to commemorate the coronation

My friend from Gibraltar checked with the Treasury today. He was told that so far only sets for the Berlin fair had been released. In Gibraltar, the kits are expected later, within a few months.

I wrote about the set in the package. There are coins in circulation in denominations of 1 penny, 2 and 5 pence.

50 Pence and 2 Pounds are already also avaliable on ebay, so probably also circulate on Gibraltar too.

The set was available at the World Money Fair.

According to information from the Treasury, about 2,000 sets have been released.

Tomorrow, the 50p, 1 pound and 2 pounds coins will be available for sale from the website of WOPA+ and/or Gibraltar Stamps and Coins. The coin sets will follow shortly.
