I tried to save the full website of Pobjoy Mint in both the internet archives of the Web Archive and Archive.is, but regardless of which page you tried to save, the result was always a capture of the home page of the website. This was very strange. I asked Pobjoy Mint to change the website to make it possible to save a copy of all pages in the Web Archive, but they refused to do so. There are some older versions of other pages of the Pobjoy Mint website available in the Web Archive, so it seems that in the past it was possible for Web Archive to capture the entire website. But at some point Pobjoy Mint must have changed their website, making it impossible to save any page other then the home page.

That having been said, Pobjoy Mint later made a new version of its website offering some information about its past: https://www.pobjoy.com/.

The government of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands informed me that they expect to be able to announce the new manufacturer of their coins within the next few weeks.

That's good info, we will see how it will looks like. Pobjoy issued nice coins for SGSS, in a lot of cases directly connected with the local fauna or SGSS history (polar/naval themes).

By the way: eurocoin, it's a pity that you were not able to archive Pobjoy website, however in the last weeks of their operations, I asked them some questions and requests about Gibraltar coins from 2000-2003 (period not included in Encyklopedia of Gibraltar Coins 1988-1999 written by Tanya Pobjoy) and also about BVI and IOM coins... They started to answer me but then they wrote that they were planning to destroy their pieces of the "Pobjoy Priority Collectors News" magazines, so they proposed to send all these papers to me on their last day - and few weeks later I received two big letters with these... One or two issues each year, usually about 20 page each, so if you need info about specific coins from Pobjoy from the period 1996-2022, feel free to ask me. I will search in the Pobjoy News and can share some photos.

Thanks for the kind offer, I don't have any questions right now but it is good to know that there is a way to get the information when necessary. That is very good of them that they did not destroy these magazines.
