German death notice

I need help translating this Death notice. I recently purchased A lot of German Banknotes, Bonds, Fieldpost's, Voucher's, Concentration camp note's, German Death notices from WWII. and some little picture's of various German seines (on peel away backing). Here is one of the death notice's could someone help with the translation. Please!

The translation is not great. "Cover you so far" means "cover you so far away in a distant land".

The translation cannot be better than the ho-hum original.   The lines below the photo say ...

DeepL translates that as ...
If love could do wonders and sorrow wake the dead,
Then the foreign earth (soil) would not cover you so far away.

This "far away" and "foreign" is used again on the other side ... The spelling is partly old, and has a mistake or two, so I "fixed" DeepL's suggestion at those points.
