To commemorate the Gibraltar Regiment, Gibraltar will issue a commemorative 1 pound coin. The coin will depict Prince Edward saluting a member of the Gibraltar Regiment holding the flag of the regimental colours. The coin is expected to be dated 2023 and with the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
