Interesting find about lombok island (Pulau Lombok) in indonesia

Can anyone tell me about this coin and its countermark from the time of Dutch East Indies?

This coin clearly is hand engraved and not counterstamped. The auction description first states "han engraved" and further on "It was later countermarked by a committee to distribute to distinguished Dutch people. etc..." I do not think this statement is correct. In any case it does not relate to the coin shown (is hand engraved). In an extensive article about the coins from the Lombok raid no mention is made of issuing counterstamped coins. This article, in Dutch, can be found here: https://jaarboekvoormuntenpenningkunde.nl/jaarboek/1996/1996g.pdf

Some of the coins, a listing is given in the article, were acquired by museum collections. Most of the coins were damaged by fire and were melted. The metal was either used for minting of silver coins for use in the Netherlands Indies while the gold was sold in bars. Undamaged coins were put in circulation (the silver rijksdaalders) or sold (foreign silver and gold). The total value of the coins was slightly over f 600.000,00
