Possible late medieval token?

Found this detecting and believe it's possibly late medieval token? It weighs 2 grams, 16mm in diameter, base circle is 1mm thick, with the raised dots and lines a further 1mm thick, so 2mm in total where there is relief.

Can you give a rough idea of where you found it?
That will help with possibly identifications.

With a blank reverse, this may be a loom weight. The weights shown here are much older and Greek, but the pages explain very well how it's used. At 2 grams, it may be too light for the purpose, though. Is it indeed made of lead?
