Shahalam bahadur rupee of Surat Ah 1124 Ry 6  (dual dated )short span minted coin
Between period (29.01.1712 to 17.02.1712).
Almost complete flan  with all the essential parameters.

The Hijri date on the coins of Shah Alam Bahadur is positioned  on the top of the obverse ( at 1 '0' clock) and therefore usually off the flan. On this specimen the complete date can be observed.

Hi Peter ,

Indeed most of my collection has been built refering WOC posts  It began when I joined WOC in 2010.

Gradually my knowledge and approach changes by reading several posts and experiences shared by asm , salvette ,oesho ,overlord, saro  etc .

It's great how useful are WoC and communities overall for improving knowledges and make our horizons wider. Even if i don't collect indian pieces, it's always great to see such beautiful pieces like yours :)
