I like this kind of deviation..
I don't like to call this a variety.. because in my opinion it's not one..
A variety is something already on the die, and coin 1 till the last coin struck with that die should have that..

But this 5 Paise is a part of my collection just for fun..  ;D  ( i assume that the die had done already a lot of work, and the last missing digit were filled with some sort "debris" on the die)

You are quite right, $and€r. This is not a variant, but an error known by different names. My preferred name is "filled die". See here. Likely 1968 or 1969.
