The island of Krk has a very old history..

Various mysterious tokens appear every year and it is often unknown who makes it. Once, a cafe on this island was being renovated, and many ancient Roman mosaics were discovered:

I find it difficult how to define this item: is it a medal, or a token, or a souvenir ..?

Being (unfortunately) non denominated and not used for anything else than a souvenir it's clearly a souvenir medal. There are some denominated similar struck pieces from nearby island of Rab though, which I do collect as I'm from Croatia. These were also actually used on their yearly manifestations called Rapska fiera (the feast of Rab), which are nowadays a major tourist attraction.

Unfortunately, I don't have photos. They're not widely collected so unfortunately pop up rarely although they're not supposed to be scarce. They're denominated in "Solad" which is a slavic version of soldo. Some years they issued denar, like in 2010:

Amazing area of collecting, if you ask me... the other pieces are also souvenirs/medals, you can expect to encounter also a golden piece sometime, sold in local jewelry stores and crafted by some bigger jeweler in Croatia or Slovenia (Zlatarna Celje is known to issue many medals per demand).

As everything in numismatics this is a neverending story and definite list is absolutely impossible to compile.

I see that "numista" indicates only one token of this island. Tokens of a similar design were issued without denomination. I am aware of two so far:
