Malawi: Plans to convert banknotes into coins

The Reserve Bank of Malawi has announced that it is planning to convert some of its banknotes into coins. Next year, the bank will also issue an updated 2000 kwacha note. Furthermore a 5000 kwacha banknote will be released, which will then be the highest currency denomination.
