Although I haven't had these coins in hand yet, based on the photos I have seen I really do not like the relief on them. The designs themselves I also find too detailed to make good coin designs.

Based on the images I feel that the relief is too low in some areas and details, and too high in others. But anyway, I have just ordered this coin series (aswell as a Canadian 'black' ring 2 dollar). Will update with my observations once I have received them.

I do have the set and I would call the execution 'cheap', worse than the old 50 and 100 leone coins minted by the Royal Dutch Mint.
