Thank you. They are better than usual, but the first two were probably struck yesterday.
The third may be a lot older, the wear pattern feels real and the dirt is genuinely ingrained. Can anyone clarify the other side of No. 3?
My interpretation is: Rama seated. Lakshman with parasol and possibly Shatrughan to the right. Who is the other figure?

Raman with Sita on the throne, their children Lava and Kusha on their laps. Behind the throne, Lakshamana, Bharata and Shatrughna stand. Hanuman bows to Rama before the throne. Valmiki to the left.

You seem to have good interest in these temple tokens, very nice collection! It's really very hard to say when these were produced but looking at the scans, they seem to be quite old. (but not as old as struck in 1740 )

How do you get these? In junk lots? In India, you can get them easily, but in UK they must not be so common...also, what metal is it? Low silver?

My first home in the UK was in Southall where I lived for nearly 15 years and my oldest friend Satwant calls me an honorary Punjabi. I did pick up a great number of IPS coins when I lived there, but no temple tokens. They're not particularly difficult to find in areas with high density populations from the sub-continent but there's very little variety. I've never found an Islamic token here other than through specialist dealers and the three shown here were from ebay.
No. 3 is probably low grade silver, the others possibly some form of nickel alloy.

Can someone please tell me how to identify if this is a recent duplicate or an old coin, and genuine / fake?

I intend to sell the same if it can get me a decent price, so any help in pricing it is also beneficial.

As far as your question is concerned, your Ramatanka is worth Rs 50 (max). It's not gold or gold plated.
