SGSSI: Subpolar Zone 2 pounds coin 2020

In 2020, Pobjoy Mint was planning to issue a silver 2 pounds coin of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands commemorating the Subpolar Zone. For unknown reasons, no such coin was issued. The design depicts the Burnet, native flower of the islands, on the foreground. Behind that, 2 King penguins can be seen with a Petrel bird flying overhead.
