Auction in the US next week.

Although not a stamp collector, I'm familiar with the great rarity and appeal of the two offered. I do know a bit about the 1933 Double Eagle, this one and others that have been confiscated by the government over the years. I believe this example is considered legal to own because of its connection to the former Egyptian King Farouk's collection that was acquired by him many years ago through legal channels.

Thanks for informing us of the auction, Globetrotter. I wasn't aware of it. I won't be bidding. ;D
