Upside-down 20 pence coin for sale in private auction

An upside-down 1982 20 pence coin is being offered for sale in a private auction. Curiously, the coin is not a misstrike. According to recently released papers under the Freedom of Information Act, experiments in teleportation were already underway in the Britain of the 1980s. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was keen to teleport dangerous political dissidents such as Julian Assange and opposition leader Michael Foot to the remote islands of British Indian Ocean Territory.

The plans were abandoned after a 20 pence coin was teleported to BIOT. On arrival, crucial qubits of the coin's molecular structure were found to have been dangerously misarranged, leading to the coin's jumbled appearance. Not only that, but the reverse of the coin had disappeared. It is believed to be the world's only one-sided coin. The half a coin is expected to sell for an unbelievably impossible sum.
