0,80 g ; 13 m ; copper
Many thanks for your help

Figleaf

This looks like a late Indian princely state issue to me. My first impression was Jaipur, but that was wrong. I think I see a flowering plant or double lotus mark on the top picture, centre right.

may not be Indian. I do not remember an Indian copper of 0.8 g

Peter and Amit many thanks for your messages.

The coin was wrapped in this paper with the caption indicated

Figleaf

I think the wrapper says paisa of Kashmir.

Yes, he wrote "Sultanato indiano Paisa de Caxemira" in portuguese.

Dear jsalgado, your coin could be:
Sultans of Dehli, Islam bin Sher Shah Suri, Date?, AE square Falus, mint? (AH 952-960/1545-1552 AD)
Obverse (First photo):
ابو المظفر اسلام شاه بن شاه سلطان , Abu al- Muzaffar Islam shah bin sher shah Sulatn (only Sultan is visible).
Reverse (Second photo):
في عهد الامير الحامى للدين والاديان   , Fi 'ahd al-amir al-hami Lil-din wa al-Adyan , (In the era of the prince the protector of religion and religions).
(only part of " al-Adyan الاديان " is visible " dyan ديان ").

Coin collecting has a curious name. It is also called the "Hobby of Kings".

Unfortunately the piece has a much more 19th century (as Peter said) rather than 16th century look to it, a thin flat sharply cut coin not a dumpy circular coin.

An intriguing coin, but I'm afraid I don't have any idea where it is really from.  :(

a suggestion :an  Ottoman asper of Mahmud  II (1808-37 AD)  struck at Algiers (the weight could fit with 2 asper ? (1 asper is square, the double of 0,8g seems to be only a round coin).
on reverse, that could fit (?) with "Jazair جزاير "

this ornament is seen on ottoman coins and often placed over the letter "sin" of "sultan" (a stylised tulip ?)
(for comparison : a coin Mahmud Khan II of Jazair)

Afrasi has it! Valentine 3, p.47, the right image needs to be turned 180 degrees. Unfortunately V. doesn't suggest a denomination.

Finally the coin looks like this:
Ottoman, Sultan Mahmud II, AH 1223 (1808 AD), AE 2 Asper, Jazzier (Algiers) mint (AH 1223-1255/1808-1839 AD).

I see the final digit of the year and that's a zero, as on Valentine's sketch. Before that might be the "flag" of a 3.
