Interesting, but also puzzling. I would have thought that making collars to apply reeded edges is a pretty standardised procedure. I can't think of any purpose served by making small differences in the edge on purpose. So how was it possible for these difference to come about? Do you have any ideas?

Now I don't have any ideas, because I'm not very familiar with the minting process in 20's of the last century. Maybe in future, we will learn more. I only know what Lithuanian 1 litas 1925 and 2 litai 1925 have differences with corrugations as well. But not a 5 litai 1925, these 5 litai coins have always the same quantity of corrugations. And of course, maybe in future, we will find more differences.
