South Africa will issue a bimetallic commemorative coin of 5 Rand in June, 2021 on the centenary of its Reserve Bank.
It will be 8th bimetallic commemorative coin issue by South Africa.

The last South African bimetallic I added to my collection was the 2008 Mandela 90th Birth Anniversary commemorative, that was in 2009 I guess. Looking at these beautiful designs, it looks like I'll have busy days ahead! 8)

Thanks for sharing.

That was the first bimetallic commemorative coin after 5 Rand became bimetallic.

Yes! I'm especially interested in Mandela birth centenary bimetallic issued in 2018 as it goes well with its elder sibling from 2008. ;)

90th Anniversary of SARB is another nice coin (fits well for the theme "coins on coins"), will we see a similar issue this year commemorating 100th anniversary?
