A gold coin in the form of an Ukrainian "Pysanka" was presented by the Canadian Royal Mint.
“Our gold Ukrainian "Pysanka" 2021 is a sunny spring holiday. Celebrate spring and the rebirth of nature with a completely golden Easter egg that emits warmth and light ”, - presents the product on the mint website.
The coin is minted from pure gold. A total of 250 of them were made.
The reverse features an "Pysanka" by Canadian artist Dave Melnichuk.
“The rooster, the beloved symbol of fertility and awakening, is the central motif and also touches the egg shape of the coin, which symbolizes birth. The tail feathers are adorned with gorgeous sunflowers and each flower has eight petals - a number that symbolizes eternity and balance. The rooster is surrounded by a ribbon, which symbolizes infinity, and the rays of the sun, representing happiness and growth. The obverse depicts the image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, ”the description says.
The cost of such a product is 7 399.95 Canadian dollars. The weight of the coin is 58.5 grams.
