While making the list I noticed that Tower Mint changed the Scottish wildcat coin. On the images that were used for the online sale of the coloured coins, and on the certificate of authenticity that comes with the coin, the name is spelled as Scottish wild cat. It seems that this was later changed as the image of the coin in the letter that was sent out by post to advertise the coloured coins, and the actual coins themselves depict the name as Scottish wildcat, without the space. It would be interesting to know whether any coins were manufactured with the space.

The visual used for the online sales can be seen below. It is not a photo of an actual coin.

I not seen it yet, was it avaliable at Westminster website or only for subscriptors? Is it still with Queen Elizabeth II on obverse or it's already with King Charles III?

Andyg posted photos here. It seems that this series was so far only available to subscribers. The pieces depict King Charles III on their obverse.

Thank you eurocoin. Not noticed images on previous page, now I see.

I guess, there will be also next issues if the last one was with new obverse.

I don't suppose there's any sign of this being the last one?  Too much to hope for I suppose. ;D

The latest coins arrived on Friday with the dreaded words, "in around three months we'll send you the next coins in the series".

Overkill or what?  I didn't take up the Jersey series but might have done had this Guernsey one not gone on so long.  It will certainly be the very last time (as well as the first) that I subscribe to such a series.  In fact, it's about killed my interest in non-UK sterling/pound-at-par coins stone-dead!

Series is named Wildlife of British Isles, so not only animals from Guernsey.

Coins are quite nice (maybe not all) but anyway, I stopped to collect them with the last edition with Queen Elizabeth II.

The Jersey floral series was just 12 coins from what I can gather, and is now complete.  That's a bit more like it.

It's a tenuous link - I imagine Westminster decide what they want to do coins for and merely offer Jersey and Guernsey the option to have their name on it, and all concerned benefit.
