The choice this year was limited. The FAO design without rupees symbol is mysterious.

Agreed. Members in the forum - please continue to vote, hoping we can have over 10 votes this year. Thanks.

Voted for the FAO commemorative. The design was ok, but the theme was/is definitely better and important than others.

Voted for: Birth Centenary of Smt. Vijaya Raje Scindia (1919-2019). Both the theme and design of that coin are 'ok'.

The FAO is quite possibly a more important theme but I hate the design of that coin so much that I cannot possibly vote for that. Lucknow is just one of many universities in India and Sri Shyamcharan Lahiree Mahasaya was a bit a vague person, so both not good themes in my opinion, although the designs of the 2 latter coins are reasonable.

That was my choice too, although I stopped collecting Republic India coins long ago.

Looking forward to this year's designs. So far only one release (Netaji), no comment on its design. ;)
