I know now this as an unknown sultanate coin, many thanks to Abhay. Any additional info apreciated.

If the coin had more light (sunlight, better scan?), I think that we would see more.
If you don't mind, try getting a better image of the coin, specially the side identifed as the reverse.
I tried to lighten the "obverse" and indeed, we can now "see" more.
