Now I have one of these ... it was described as being a dirhem of Saladin from Acre.  It was on my list of things to ask about on-line one day.

Have a look at lot 3702 (Aleppo) here for comparison:

I think the first one is indeed an Aleppo-type Dirhem, but of al-Zahir Ghazi (AH582-613). Compare with the examples here. A larger image would be helpful for the second one.
