Coinage of the United Arab Emirates.

In 1973 the United Arab Emirates issued their first joint coinage.

The coins were produced by the Royal Mint (UK).

The designs were the work of Royal Mint artist and sculptor Geoffrey Colley.

I am extremely grateful to the Royal Mint Museum (UK) for these beautiful images.

They show Geoffrey Colley's initial designs for the coinage.
